D Reeko: Impacting The Underground Music Scene With His Diverse Sound
Diego Rafael Gonzalez also known as “D Reeko” as well trapamigo by the underground. He’d started making music in 2008, remembering being at one of his exes house listening to Lil Wayne and reciting his songs.

“I was born and raised In PACOIMA, California ever since I was young everyone use to call me “Stars” that was my nickname I always like dressing up nice always won best dress in high school and middle school.” — Says D Reeko
D Reeko used to throw parties at an early age so alot of people in my city knew who he was and that’s always outgoing and known.
Growing Up In Fresno, California And Developing His Career
Evolution to his life, He was really good at dancing as well he was competing at various party’s and D Reeko would always win the krump and pop locking battles that use to get in then he moved to Fresno, California when his parents got divorced and lived out there for two years.
At that point is when he really got into music and bought a 20 dollar microphone and a computer that high school teacher had blessed him with cause he saw he had alot of passion for it cause in high school he would freestyle a lot and started recording in audacity this was in 2010.
Delivering Music On MySpace And Curating An Name For Himself
He’s been dropping music on MySpace known as daygo at the time, then in 2012 he’d moved to Las Vegas and that’s when he got in a group with his older cousins who were making music at the time they use to go by ill nation.
“My two cousins “big raf ikki” and “dee boy” and my cousin miggz, rip to my cousin he’s the reason why I had pro tools on my computer he came to my house and blessed me with it.he installed it when I had bought my 200 dollar mic and interface that year. ” — Says D Reeko
“Which my grandma and aunt had purchased me a computer that time. Then I started really going hard performing opened up for lighter shade or brown ,chosen few crew, I threw my first event as well and had artist open up for me.” — Says D Reeko
“Then I was working with this producer name gro55 and made alot of music with him and I started working with tikki tavi and odd Lennon around the same year as well.” — Says D Reeko
“Then I got interviewed by Estrella tv a local TV show here in Las Vegas. Then my cousins stopped making music and I kept going thru out the years then in 2014 that’s when I changed my name to d reeko one of my friends who I had met at that time by the name of Otis Coleman gave me that name rip to him my homie lost his life to gun violence and that’s what motivated me to pursue my dream more for him and I and I changed my sound as well started making music more mainstream cuz when I started it was underground very east coast and boom bap sound.” — Says D Reeko
In, 2014 Reeko started performing at alot of open mics worked with alot of local artist like epic 1 and tikki tavi and odd Lennon and many more was dropping music on YouTube back to back. Then in 2015 I moved to Montana to go work out there cuz me and my brother had lost the house we were living in and I kept making music and in 2016 I dropped my first tape illuminious on SoundCloud and I started working with local talent there like dark rich and trademark and g snookie. — Says D Reeko
“In 2017 i moved back to Vegas again and he didn’t have a studio at that time so he started going to studios that’s when I met hitman beatz I made two songs with him and recorded at his studio and that’s when I linked up back with tikki tavi and we made a whole album to his beats which was called emotions I dropped it in 2018 and me and my brother odd lennon started dropping more music together as a duo.” — D Reeko
I started filming music videos by myself and with him we worked with trazae the realist films and the shade films as well.also in 2018 that’s when I met barber six sense and jayroy styles two celebritiy barbers and I performed at one of there shows and they would help me style up my image and also worked with say 10 there younger brother a clothes designer that’s worked with alot of famous celebrities. — Says D Reeko
D Reeko has also worked with tmac the rapper and blue jeans as well and worked at the junction studio and glasshouse studios then in 2020 he came out on TV in telemundo on Tengo much talento and he made 300 dollars that day they paid for my hotel and flight that’s was the first time experience being on TV like that.
“Then I kept working on music then in 2024 I shot a video with sani TV and the swim club featuring a artist by the name of xiara 2x we dropped this dope song that’s was prod by feniko beats and we dropped another called disco but I kepted dropping music then me and my partner odd lennon dropped our first country song on Spotify and I kepted dropping music on Spotify since 2016 my first song to hit 20,000 views was in 2017 featuring this Australian artist.” — Says D Reeko

“By the name of hitz, At that time 2016 thru 2018 my homie from key group ENT was promoting me, He’s the main reason why my views were going up on Spotify, iTunes, and all other streaming platforms. Then In the summer of 2024 I dropped my faces music video that was filmed by ff visuals first video that actually looked professional.” — Says D Reeko
“I kept dropping music I never stopped only like for one year but I kepted going all these years my goal was to be a successful artist, I want to make sure the whole world hears my music. My plan is to keep elevating keep growing as a music artist and a singer writer and I write all my music as well.” — Says D Reeko
Continuing His Legacy Of The Journey To Financially Settle His Family
Everything “D Reeko” ever done has came out of his pocket and his families pocket they had always supported him so he wants to reach the top so he can bless everyone who supported him and he want to always make great music and reach the number 1 spot on the billboards and aim for a Grammy, He is very versatile and can make any kind of genres from English to Spanish. I’m ready to be the super star I’ve been meant to be.
As of this year, D Reeko have already dropped more then 30 songs and is still dropping music, He Just dropped his first song that was produced by Tony fadd same producer who produced trap queen by fetty wap. His plan is to go world-wide with the music and keep elevating from 16 years of making music as he think’s it’s time for the world to know who D Reeko is.
