J-Yo: Hip-Hop Savior In Action Is Coming Up
J-Yo is an 40 year old rapper coming straight out of the Philadelphia area, He started curating music finding a true passion for it at the age of 16 as he would become an freestyle battle rapper at house parties until he turned 20 years old.
Around this time he would start writing songs and was a part of a local hip-hop group, They would perform successfully doing shows opening up for big artists. “My group broke up in 2012 and I been solo ever since.” — Says J-Yo
J-Yo started releasing music on all digital platforms from 2021, He accumulated over 100K+ streams so far as he has intended to get monetized on Youtube when he starts shooting professional music videos.
Goals And Achievements
His goals are highly ranked and mannered towards continuing to grow and always try to improve getting better.
“I have been rapping for 24 years and have close to 100 songs recorded, A majority was with my group but I have about “50” solo tracks. I have opened up for many big artists and love performing live generally, I reached over 100K+ streams on Spotify and wanna continue to keep growing however I am able to.” — Says J-Yo
J-Yo has earned a major placement from “3rd Place” on a radio competetion with other 15 artists and won every battle rap he ever was in, 2016 he was signed to a record label in LA named Mafioso Music.
To be fair honest, J-Yo has not worked with too many big names but without a doubt he’s learned a-lot in the 24 years he has been rapping.
